RIEDER group - represented at Vienna City Marathon 2011
421,9 kilometers in 38 hours – 48 minutes – 47 seconds
This year, the Rieder Group was present once again at the Vienna City Marathon with 30 participating runners. Rieder sent three marathon runners, seven half-marathon runners, and five relay teams into the races. Thomas Schischek conquered the 42.195 kilometres in a respectable time of 03:17:48!
Good results were also achieved in the half-marathon and relay races. The fastest runner in the half-marathon – Joachim Wimberger – achieved the 21st place in his category with a top time of 01:25:21.
Motivation to move
For the 4th consecutive time, Rieder assembled a team of motivated athletes who trained together throughout the entire year for the big event in Vienna. Rieder made medical check-ups with sports physicians, assistance from experienced trainers including the design of individual training plans, and nutrition consultations, available to all who wished to participate.
