Due to the extremely durable absorber material single-grain concrete, this noise protection system is extremely suitable to withstand external influences such as physical impact.

Its main application areas are train-stations, areas near schools and other areas highly frequented by pedestrians as the durable absorber-elements offer effective noise-reduction with a low risk of being damaged. Our experience unfortunately shows that this solid material is necessary for such applications as we have already exchanged damaged light weight noise barrier elements many times.

The highly porous surface of the Poreton elements is not suitable for graffiti due to the high amount of paint needed, so sprayers tend to look for smoother surfaces.
